It’s that day of the week when we open the fridge and create all sorts of dishes using the odd leftovers from the previous week.
We are quarantining ourselves at the moment so running down to the supermarket wasn’t an option.
Miss 4 and I sat down with our Meal Planner to devise a strategy. Within 10minutes we had the weeks meals planned out and were firing up the laptop to arrange for woolies to drop off the goods.
Monday – Chick Pea Patties and Salad
Tuesday – Chicken and Veggie Noodles
Wednesday – Beef Risotto
Thurday – Chicken and Spinach Pesto
Saturday – Pasta in simple sauce (a throw together with no real recipe and different end result every time!
Sunday – Creamy Tomato and Basil Pasta (Thermobexta’s Main Meals Made Easy cookbook)
It was good to throw all of the odds and ends vegetables that were left into our yummy patties tonight. There were clean plates around the table, Mr 9 requesting a patty in his sandwich tomorrow and plenty left for the freezer.
Waste not want not and the kids are happy to oblige today!
