We are quarantining ourselves at the moment so running down to the supermarket wasn’t an option. The joys of kids and their germs. Rather than risk spreading our bugs, we took advantage of ordering our groceries online.

Miss 4 and I sat down with our Meal Planner to devise a strategy. Within 10 minutes we had the weeks meals planned out and were firing up the laptop to arrange for woolies to drop off the goods.

Monday – Chick Pea Patties and Salad

Tuesday – Chicken and Veggie Noodles

Wednesday – Beef Risotto

Thurday – Chicken and Spinach Pesto

Friday- Lemon and Coconut Dahl with Flat Bread

Saturday – Pasta in simple sauce (a throw together with no real recipe and different end result every time!

Sunday – Creamy Tomato and Basil Pasta (Thermobexta’s Main Meals Made Easy cookbook)

It was good to throw all of the odds and ends vegetables that were left into our yummy patties tonight. There were clean plates around the table, Mr 9 requesting a patty in his sandwich tomorrow and plenty left for the freezer.

Waste not want not and the kids are happy to oblige today! Meal Plan Monday for the win!
